I updated the latest IDE and this area cannot be minimized, please help me.

Based on recent issues it is likely related to Material theme UI plugin IDEA-350768
Please try to disable it and restart the IDE https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/managing-plugins.html
Try checking the layout or view settings in your IDE sometimes updates reset preferences. If that doesn’t work, a quick restart or resetting to default layout might help. What IDE are you using?
